"The Purple Rose of Cairo," is a magical romantic tale of a fictional character coming out of the silver screen and falling for a "real' woman. Jeff Daniels is in top form and very convincingly plays two different characters.
This film is imaginative, unique and it never takes itself too seriously. Woody Allen wrote and directed yet another fine film.
