Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by Ashley B — 14 Jul 2016

While I have yet to see the first one of this series I have managed to catch the last two. While none of the movies are mind blowing I do find them interesting and well put together in terms of scenery and creativity. So far this is my favorite of the bunch, in a subtle way it reminds me of "The Warriors" when you have all these various groups with different looks combing the streets in search of victims. But thats about where it ends in terms of comparisons but I do find the storylines interesting albeit a bit predictable. RT ranks this on the average of 50 or 60% like rating but I think they are a bit better than that. Good enough popcorn movie to kill time with.
