Review of The Purge: Anarchy (2014) by Joe S — 15 Nov 2014
The Purge: Anarchy is a slight improvement from the first film, in that it takes the audience to the streets during "the annual purge". True to form, it is full of senseless violence but the writers decided to add a small storyline this time around.
Needless to say it is a film you will probably only watch once to see what kind of grisly deaths the creators can concoct but it has its moments of thrills and chills. Save it for a night when there isn't anything appealing on Netflix (which might not be ever).
