Leap years better than the first but you still have to wonder why does everyone act like morons on the purge. From the stupid masks to the over acting idiot screaming Release the Beast what's really the point.
Frank Grillo does add a really strong presence to the movie and there are times (when you forget about the ridiculious premise) that work as just solid action.
