Review of The Puppet Masters (1994) by Dirck D — 12 Oct 2007
Another reviewer here thinks this is a crap adaptation of the Heinlein book. I am of quite the opposite opinion-- I think that the film lacks the smarmy gender-interaction which infuses the book, does away with the over-done denoument, and is otherwise very close to the good parts of the original material.
I grant that Eric Thal is somewhat funny-looking, but that's neither here nor there in appreciating the film.
