Review of The Puppet Masters (1994) by David D — 06 Dec 2009
Donald Sutherland might have felt a certain sense of déjà vu while making this film, having already starred in the remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, a story considered by many to be a mere copy of Heinlein's novel.
I must admit, I haven't read either novel, so I can't say which is better, but this film is not quite up to the standard of any of the movie versions of The Body Snatchers.
It's quite fun, in its own way, I suppose. But no classic.
