The Punk Singer is everything I wanted it to be. After leaving the screening, I felt inspired and I wanted to start a band and make art and do all those things that i'm too goddamn shy to do, and then I went to sleep and woke up.
I admit, i've never listened much to Bikini Kill, not that i've tried, so this was not only interesting from the point of view of this person that I did not know much about and how they rallied some sort of movement, it was that the music is incredible to hear too.
Go see it!
