Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by Amrita S — 25 Jun 2010

This is probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I wanted to like it but the technical issues (direction and editing) were horrid. I couldn't wait for it to be over. The great cast didn't save this movie.

Please someone remake this movie. There was no magic there. Beyoncé made the songs her own, which is fine but its not about you. Now I understand why Etta slammed her in the press. Don't waste you time with this one.

Its a shame this story had such potential.
