Review of The Punisher (2004) by Wakoj. — 21 Apr 2004
OK, so this ain't no "X-Men" or "Spiderman," BUT...it acquits itself nicely from the more than unpardonable sin committed by the likes of "Hulk" and "Daredevil" -- it entertains.
Although his performance is hit and miss (more hit than miss), Thomas Jane looks like he was born for this role. A better actor and director might have done more with the, again, hit-and-miss screenplay, but by all accounts, not an insufferable afternoon at the movies.
