I haven't seen this movie in a while so I don't remember some things, but I do remember liking it. Thomas Jane, I thought, was the perfect choice to play Frank Castle and even after all this time, I still believe that. From what I've seen of the apparent "sequel" which has a completely different cast, look and new director, it was even LESS well recieved than this one! Yet everyone thought, and was hoping, it would be better...
In my opinion, this is the best Punisher movie we're ever going to get for a very long time, and after the failure of that sequel (and success of this, in comparison), probably ever.
