Review of The Puffy Chair (2006) by Alan Q — 21 May 2007
I can appreciate this movie although it is not one I would immediately recommend. If there was a saving grace--a genuine SOMETHING--that would convince me why Kathryn Aselton's character would remain with the protagonist, why she would tolerate the lug, why she would be passionate enough to make the declarations she makes about marriage, it never manifests or it is lost in the two-note performance given by Mark Duplass.
While it is a frustrating road movie with male characters I would ditch at the next rest stop while they are relieving themselves, it does have a satisfactory ending.
