I received this movie in the mail and it's called, "Public Enemy". I?ve had it in my queue for quite a while. The film company had just released ?Public Enemy? on DVD only recently and I think it?s been remastered (what ever that means). I really enjoyed this film. The cast and the writing were amazing. "Public Enemy" is about these two friends that grew up during the turn of the twentieth century. The film is also about how they got into the gangs and life of crime that they were into. Now this is supposed to be film about gang violence during prohibition era and was interesting to see what their take on it. I know this sounds awful but the main reason I wanted to see this movie was for Jean Harlow. Only to my disappointment she is only in it for about a total of ten minutes and that's it. I didn?t let that ruin the film for me and it?s still a great film. Jean Harlow did turn out a great performance as well as Cagney. I thought this whole movie worked. I really enjoyed this movie and I would suggest this movie to any one. The DVD does have some extra stuff on it. That really shocked me because normally movies that are older don?t have extras on it. Please see what you all think..
