(1931) The Public Enemy.
CRIME/ DRAMA.
The film that put James Cagney on the map- his first gangster film craving audiences for James Cagney to star in more like this. Sort of like a biography of an actual ganster that is so well done. Inspired countless more gangster films after this one was made making it a big hit with audiences. The grapefruit scene with Mae Clarke was one of the msot memorable scenes in movie history.
4/4.
