Review of The Public Enemy (1931) by Brian L — 12 Apr 2009
Cagney is well placed as the bad-to-the-bone gangster who naturally gets his just dessert at the end. Interesting how the movie suggests the innate badness in some people since Cagney is constantly juxtaposed with the good older brother played by Cook.
