Review of The Public Enemy (1931) by John A — 03 Apr 2012
A triumphant movie classic that set the standards for all gangster films to follow. James Cagney potrays street gangster Tom Powers and his rise to the top of prohibition era Chicago. His performance is outstanding.
This film is truly compelling and hooked me from start to finish. A memorable film, a great gangster feature.
