Review of The Public Enemy (1931) by Rick A — 05 Nov 2010
The film follows the formula of many crime drama's closely, and although it may be one of the first to do this, the fact remains that it does not feel as special and unique to a modern audience as it did at the time.
Still, James Cagney and the ending itself make the film memorable and worth seeing.
