It's a great western, and dare I say on-par with 3:10 to Yuma and Tombstone. It's not for the faint-of-heart, as the violence is near constant and incredibly graphic. It's a great story that seems to get lost halfway through, but finds itself in the right place by the end.

The cinematography seems a little amateurish, but the score and performances make up for it. I don't like that John Hurt is advertised when he barely makes it into the film (just like Indy 4!), but his few scenes were phenomenal, as always.

It's very well put together with some very catchy score music and grand performances, but is it the best? Not by a long shot. Worth a watch atleast once, but I dare you to watch it again with equal enjoyment.

Also, Wenham's snooty voice sounds like a British Skeletor.
