A near flawlest western. This is the best of the genre to come along in 20 years and ranks among the greatest westerns of all time. Fiirey performances, amazing landscapes and bloody confrontations make this film an instant classic.
Raw, brutal, and unforgiving, the way a good westen should be made. This film is one of my all time favorites. It blends beautiful scenery, great acting, a marvelous script and loud big bombast puncuated by extreme, bloody, sadisitc violence and brutality.
This film is not for those with a weak stomach. It's gritty. It's raw and it's unforgiving, the way a good western should be. ****.
