A good Australian Western about a policeman, a somewhat tragic but tough character, hunting down a gang of criminals and in a bid to civilize a badland. But he'll have troubles from both the criminals and from the interfering beauracrats above him.
It's very lyrical and has a harsh beauty about it, graced also by some very fine acting and some excellent cameos.
