Review of The Prophecy II (1998) by Christie B — 16 Dec 2018

For a horror movie, itï¿ 1/2(TM)s great, (no itï¿ 1/2(TM)s not Shakespeare, get over it) with a real actor (which most horror movies donï¿ 1/2(TM)t include, particularly one this old) and, as in almost all of Walkenï¿ 1/2(TM)s movies, there are a several outstanding scenes with him that far surpass (& elevate)the overall level (particularly one amazingly poignant scene w/Jennifer towards the ending).

So no, it doesnï¿ 1/2(TM)t deserve such a low rating from RT audience, (although always to be expected from critics). BTW, (speaking of), if you havenï¿ 1/2(TM)t seen it and You are a Christopher Walken fan, Suicide Kings is full of an outstanding Walken, a perfect example of what would be a fairly amusing but mediocre movie that would otherwise also deserve a rating below 50% but that is also transformed by Walken into a into a much better movie.
