Review of The Prophecy (1995) by Emily H — 22 Jun 2008
Loved Mortensen's "I love you more than Jesus" comment. I'm supposedly Catholic. I should HATE that comment. In fact, on that premise, I should probably dislike most of the film - why not? I hated Da Vinci Code.
Unfortunately for God I do, in fact, love this film, along with the sequel and 'The Ascent'. It's not heresy, but when you find yourself rooting for a guy contemplating waging war against a perpetually absent God, it's skirting pretty close.
