Review of The Promotion (2008) by Tyler W — 11 Oct 2008
What sad little pathetic lives we all tend to lead. I was expecting this to be a little funnier but actually sort of dealt more with the serious side of what we as humans do to get ahead in life. In this case two guys both under the pump for different reasons to provide for their family and both gunning for a promotion as Manager of a Shopping Centre. So was actually refreshing to see both Reilly & Scott trying to keep a lid on there comedic talents and use the environment that surrounds them as the real laughter ( some absurd, some funny and some a little depressing really).
So I guess if you like something a little offbeat, some genuine laughs and a weird kind of feeling about the struggle some people have to live a good life and what choices you make in the process.
