Synopsis of this movie brought to mind horribleness such as Dane Cook's Employee of the Month, which this is far from. I went in kind of skeptical. Seann William Scott (seriously, two Ns in Seann? what's up with that? uh.
..anyways...) and John C. Reilly are not usual leads (though I thought John was kickass in Walk Hard, so fuck you preconceived notions!). But they actually do well here. I end up liking them both and really wondering who I'm supposed to be rooting for at times.
This is a kind of bizarre slice-of-life movie that made me think it was going down bad, dark or stupid paths at times. Overall it was kind of weird and made me feel funny, so I like it.
