Recommend that everyone view this film. We know history and this film tells the story of Turkish atrocities to Armenian Christians in a subdued, even handed manner. The romantic subplot does not diminish form the primary story of the Armenian genocide.
Many reviewers allowed their person liberal narratives to hinder an objective review of this fine, tastefully done film.
