Review of The Promise (2017) by Thera C — 14 Jun 2017
Disappointing, great male cast, female lead seems to be out of place and lack of chemistry with Oscar Isaacs. The story is incredible, the movie is not and Charlotte Le Bon's strange American accent keeps pulling me out of the movie.
It's as if she is in another made for TV version when Oscar Isaacs is in an arthouse version and Chrisitan Bale would still love to put on his batsuit and save everybody.
