One of the greatest comedic setups of all time. Truly ignoble Bialystock and hysterical Bloom come up with a foolproof plan to fleece old ladies. Some unforgettable, truly original characters as well as a fantastic script make this one a classic.
This movie can best be summed up by Mel Brooks' response to a lady who called this movie vulgar: "Madam, this movie rises below vulgarity." That, it does.
