Review of The Producers (1968) by Nate B — 29 Jun 2008
Absolute comic genius. Of course, it is Mel Brooks. The fact that a Jewish guy makes a movie about a play about Hitler is hilarious in its own right. The song at the beginning of the play is one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen.
Definitely one of Brooks' best movies (Blazing Saddles being the best IMO).
