Review of The Producers (1968) by Liz B — 08 Jan 2009
Maybe some of the humor is a little dated, but in my opinion that just adds to the overall charm. It's a CLASSIC, people. Runs rings around the remake, in my opinion... I know the musical update was a success (at least, the stage version), but I still don't really feel it was necessary to change it so much.
Also, Mostel & Wilder are better than Lane & Broderick- sorry, it's just true.
