Review of The Producers (1968) by Stefán Birgir S — 10 Jun 2010
Its entertaining but lacks much substance, its goes to over-the-top for a movie that didn't really need to be. Gene Wilder was undoubtedly the best part of the movie, he is always able to steal the show and one up the lead of the movie.
It for some reason seemed to be incredibly loud, almost annoying at times, which is the ditch most musical comedies fall into.
