Review of The Princess and the Frog (2009) by Kizoku Kage Ryu . — 18 Oct 2011
So we can see that Disney made a politically correct movie. And for the first time it is all backwards: the hero princess is black; the villain is a man; the princeâ(TM)s servant (that betrays him) is white, the voodoo mama is the new version for ferry mother, oh and the bad guy reminded me Jaffar from Aladdin.
Anyway the question that I asked my self while I was watching it is: where is the plot?? I mean for kids it is nice movie but very âsimpleâ?, too simple and mediocre. Still its fun to watch because of the classical way of the animation (that is done like the old school way and they didnâ(TM)t use computer graphics).
