Review of The Prince of Tides (1991) by Nathan E — 22 Jul 2008
When I finished reading Pat Conroy's "The Prince of Tides", I was overwhelmed with conflicting emotions. The novel was a masterpiece that, when it was made into a film, directed by Barbra Streisand, I was more than excited.
The film may not equal the greatness of the book, but it is quite a viewing experience. Kate Nelligan is perfect as the selfish and ruthless matriarch. This film should not be missed.
