An impressive animation that does indeed, stand on it's own at a time when the animation spectrum was fast becoming, for the most part, much more sophisticated in it's visuals than it is in it's storytelling.
Animators have now become more successful in their balance of both these key elements, and The Prince of Egypt stands along with them as an impressive, narrative-rich film.
