Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Youchlol — 16 Oct 2020
By telling a character driven story of the book of Exodus, the prince of Egypt manages to make itself a masterpiece. With beautiful animation, complex characters, inspiring songs and a complex story, it makes the movie an absolute must watch.
As an adaption however, I think I would give it a lower score, since it does change some thing in the story. But the execution truly made it work. And that's why this is the greatest religious movie ever created.
