Review of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) by Kevin H — 10 Aug 2011
This is one of Maggie Smith's best! She portrays an independent, assertive, intelligent, romantic, influential, and destructive woman/teacher. In the beginning you are like one of her students- amazed at the beauty and depth that she brings into the girls' lives.
And by the end you are left unsure of your opinion of her. She is a quagmire, beware of her charm. A must see!
