Review of The Prestige (2006) by Aarons — 22 Oct 2006
Immensely entertaining, a smart, complex and surprisingly dark thriller. Bale and Jackman are terrific and David Bowie is sensational in a surprising cameo. The ending is a bit of a cheat, but the first 2/3 of the film are so wonderful I could overlook it.
A fun film that misses being great by that much.
