I love this movie, and the fact that someone can make such an intricate work of art astounds me. I suggest this film on one ground, you are a conscious film viewer. If you just want to relax, I don't suggest this movie because you may not understand it.
That is merely a choice of the viewers attitude toward film-watching. It doesn't mean you can't understand it, it just means it won't be as enjoyable if you're looking for a good time.
Now, if you love analyzing films and watching it all fold out beautifully, then if you haven't seen this movie, watch it as soon as possible. You will adore it. The reaction to this film is very black-and-white.
I don't think there is a middle ground. Fantastic writing, acting, and directing either way.
