Review of The Prestige (2006) by Riff J — 11 Apr 2016
Chris Nolan does it again! This is a phenomenal movie that will have you debating and discussing it long after the credits roll. Whether it's Interstellar or Inception, Nolan has a gift for keeping the conversation going re his movies, sometimes even years after they have screened (see Reddit for the interesting and varied theories re his movies, still taking place to this day).
Jackman, Bateman and Caine are stellar as the magicians, while Scarlett Jo and Rebecca Hall steam up the screen with their brilliant and emotional performances. Every character in this movie brings a unique element to it, that ensures that this movie adds up to significantly more than the sum of it's very huge parts. Well done, all around.
