Review of The Preacher's Wife (1996) by William S — 28 May 2006
The Preacher's Wife contains all the ingredients that good holiday film need. Film is about preacher who is struggling to find romance with his wife, and he meets an angel who has come down to sort things out.
Film also has element of comedy to its touching story and characters in it. Story is what makes this film a good one, and it's worth watching around the holiday season. It's generally feel good film, but it's not one that stands out completely with original plot and stunning cinematography.
It's simply fun film and succeeds in that aspect. Just expect it to be another take on romantic holiday film.
