Review of The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007) by Jason H — 12 Oct 2009

I dont know what to say....for the first time im speechless, disturbing, is not the word I would use because to be honest thats kind. Some scenes are awkward some scenes are very interesting but the tapes themselves are brutal, gory, bloody, creepy, tourture pornography at its absolute peak.

I dare anyone to watch this movie all the way through and not turn away, mute or pause at anypoint. A Mockumentry about a fake Seriel killer who's brutal murders curse the town of poughkeepsie...i won give it more than 2 stars because I cant say I enjoyed it, because I didnt.

..but I do understand what John Erick Dowdle was trying to prove...if this ever actually reaches the public it will be NC-17, I have no doubts about that...Viewer Discretion is highly highly advised...
