I waited 10 years for a let down. One half effective found footage, serial killer mockumentary, one half disturbing, masochistic celebration of all that is terrible in the world. There's definitely some skill on the table here, because when the film wants to be subtle its actually quite chilling; it's just a shame so much of the effort was spent towards tedious and gratuitous torture porn nonsense.
