An interesting plot and tragic tale which reminds me, in ways, of "A Place In The Sun". This was one of Lana Turner's finest performances and I think John Garfield really made his character his own.
I really enjoyed all the scenes with Hume Cronyn. Cronyn really made you believe he h.
