Review of The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) by Scott C — 11 Aug 2009
The psychological twists in this movie make for such great noir. The remake with Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange is good, but the original is better. The claustrophobic tension in the original is near perfect, and Lana Turner plays an exceptional role as a sympathetic femme fatale.
Great ending, too.
