Review of The Postman (1997) by Devon R — 25 May 2008
Despite it's near 3 hour running time, The Postman managed to suck me into a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world with ease. Shunning the shiny gleaming surfaces most people imagine when they envision the future, The Postman's world has lost nearly all technology and have reverted back to the feudal system. The United States of America is no more and Kevin Costner's character through chance events is given the opportunity to inspire hope in an all new generation.
Will Patton was real good too. ;).
