Review of The Postman (1997) by Brave H — 28 Nov 2014
A movie about ideas, in which the good ideas prevail, which is why the majority of modern critics flail away at nonessentials in order to pan it. Because they simply do not 'get' the ideas or like the ideas.
The Postman serves as a cultural barometer of where we stand in the epic struggle for liberty, particularly insofar as the intellectuals of society are concerned. Ten years from now, IMHO, the average critic's assessment will be 9/10 vs.
the current critic's 0.9/10.
