Review of The Post (2017) by Adam P — 15 Jan 2018
If we are judging this film on its hard hitting themes and the relevance of its timeliness then it's utterly flawless but as a work of pure cinema it largely rides the strength of its two leads as well as excellent work from Bob Odenkirk.
The script is unremarkable and unchallenging playing it far to safe and offering no revelations not already explored in better works such as The Fog of War or certainly the original Pentagon Papers film.
