Review of The Post (2017) by Tj S — 22 Jan 2018

I may be biased being a history major in college but I loved this film. The Vietnam War era was one of my favorite times of history to study and I feel that this movie did it justice. Steven Spielberg always does such a great job capturing these moments of history and presenting them in a way where they aren't boring, and making them sorta suspenseful even though we know how it ends! The cinematography was great so there was exceptional work by the DP and I want to comment on the acting by Hanks and Streep but at this point we already expect from those two.

So i'd really like to take the time to spotlight Spielberg and his DP Janusz Kaminski on their amazing work with this movie. Oh, and Bob Odenkirk was another great supporting actor in this film I wanted to mention that.
