Review of The Post (2017) by Cameron A — 14 Nov 2018
A journalism-thriller about the Pentagon Papers and the Washington Post's publication thereof under the direction of publisher Katharine Graham. It's a rah-rah film about standing up to power (President Nixon) and doing What's Right.
I loved all the obsolete technology: typewriters, pneumatic tubes, linotypes. And the way the camera fetishizes the printing presses will make this a cult classic among newspaper nerds for sure.
