The first 20 plus minutes were dull and poorly executed by all layers of the film-making crew: poor direction, poor acting, poor scripting, etc. The middle was well paced and shone while the ending was blase.
It didn't look or feel at all like a Spielberg film. Casting Streep and Hanks in the leads was a mistake. Tracy Letts was the closest thing to a star performance.
