Review of The Post (2017) by Mahesh D — 23 Apr 2018
Did not find the whole movie as such as great as it was made out to be. I have seen the documentary "THE PENTAGON PAPERS" a decade ago and it made a far greater impression on me. This movie is about Meryl Streep's character rather than the broader perspective of press freedom.
She was good and a few other scenes were very good. Other than that, I did not find anything really inspirational throughout the whole movie. Just like "ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN", it was more like a documentary from the point of view of the protagonists and I found both movies to be dry.
