Review of The Post (2017) by Mike V — 22 May 2018
The Post is a 2017 American historical political thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg.
Unfortunately This film disappointed me. I found it very flat throughout, and I can't remember another film which has caused me to lose focus and concentration so often. Apart from Streep, there was little here to interest me, even though I kept trying to connect and become involved. The subject matter and basic story just weren't interesting enough, and the ending was overly patriotic. The attempts at humour also didn't really work or fit in with the rest of the film. D.
